Purchase: I have bought these wonderful breeches at various places. I bought 2 pairs from Adams Horse Supply in Maine--they give a discount!-- and one pair from Dover when on sale.

Likes: These are the best breeches out there! They look a bit funny at first with the segmented full seat, but you really have to try them on to fully appreciate them. They fit perfectly--they are stretchy enough that they have a very smooth fit that is very flattering. The ab panel hides many holiday sins! the knees are designed to be flexible so you can easily squat down in them. the full deer skin seat is amazing. No more creases or blisters on your backside. And the material really keeps you cool in the summer despite the weight of the fabric. Even the white color ones look great and clean up really well. they are great in the saddle--just enough stick but not too much. As an eventer I wear them ALL day long when I show and am always comfortable--not too hot and sticky. I won't buy anything else now I am so spoiled by these.

Dislikes: They are expensive so I have to save for each pair. If they were half the price I would own many more pairs, but I wear the 3 pair I own constantly and they have held up beautifully. Adams discounts them and I got mine when they had an additional sale so mine cost $160 with free shipping and no tax!

Quality: I have the pull on ones. they look very nice--really high quality fabric that cleans easily and is snag resistant. The calf area is made of a very tough stretchy mesh so you don't have the heat and bulk of the breech in your boots. the seams are smooth and double stitched. There are belt loops. The deer skin full seat has held up beautifully after many washings (with melp).

Summary: I am not one to go looking for a $200 pair of breeches. As an eventer, I never have enough money for lessons, horse stuff, etc. But, these breeches are so comfortable and durable, they really are worth the price. You get what you pay for. I don't want to wear anything other breech when I ride.
