Purchase: I paid about $44 from Dover, but I then ordered some more directly from Cashel and they were much more inexpensive and the shipping was better.
Likes: My horse chronically ripped-up his hocks... I rescued him and he was completely emaciated along with being 17.1 and a klutz. He ripped his hocks even when he would roll and get up in sand, everywhere he did it, even in extremely deep bedding. He had open sores on his hocks that I then bandaged everyday with sheet cotton and vet wrap, when I used these crappy neoprene hock boots. I ordered just about every hock boot I could find, and the Cashel Boomer Hock Socks were the only ones that stayed on, were breathable, and he didn't break or rip apart.
Dislikes: The one this is that when you order from Dover, you can only get one size, but when I was able to order from Cashel, I got warmblood size. The horse size still worked, but I wished it could have been bigger (my horse is giant though, it would probably fit any horse under 17 hands perfectly).
Quality: The fabric is good and tough, and I like that they have a little padding. The elastic velcro straps are a little weak though. Overall the best quality of a hock boot/wrap you are going to find for leaving on in pasture and stall. They were perfect for my horse.
Summary: Great wraps/boots, better than any other you're going to find. WAY better than any neoprene hock boot, these are the only ones that protect your horse's hocks, in addition to being breathable and washable.
