Purchase: I just purchased my Ameriogo Cortina saddle as a demo model from www.horse-works.com for $3200.
Likes: I absolutely LOVE this saddle. It is easy to settle into a perfect riding position and it's made for my horse's particular back shape. She has a short back and long withers. Most saddles don't address the length of the withers, just whether they are high or mutten. She has neither. We are both very comfortable and my horse is far less "girthy" when saddling up. My saddle search lasted for almost a year, I spend nearly $200 shipping saddles from all across the country. I wish I had just started with the Amerigos in the first place.
Dislikes: Nothing! I love it.
Quality: This is a top of the line saddle manufacturer with a great product. I know I'll have this saddle for many years to come. It was well worth every penny.
Summary: Look at the Amerigos if you want the best for you horse is you can somehow afford to do it. They have a different tree shape for specific horse shapes. They go way beyond the N M MW and W regarding fit. They address the shape of the horse's back.
