Purchase: I bought this blanket 2 months ago, November 2008, because I wanted a blanket with a neck cover. I found it on-line for $160.
Likes: I like that this blanket has a wider fit in the shoulder allowing my horse plenty of room to move and not rub through his shoulder. The removable neck cover is included and is great for colder days. The blanket does not slip and constantly need to be readjusted.
Dislikes: The blankets don't run true to size. I bought a size 80" for my horse and when I measured it, it only measured 77" in length, so I had to buy the next size up. The leg arches and depth of blanket are a bit short, leaving the lower girth area and in front of the hind legs exposed on a bigger depth body. I had to put a sheet on underneath to cover the exposed areas. The neck cover doesn't come together very well at the base of the neck leaving an area of the neck exposed, which is not good when you have a horse completely clipped out. The tail strap idea is not a good one. I am constantly cleaning manure off of it. Neither of the blankets I received have D-rings for leg straps.
Quality: The overall quality of the blanket is okay, but the construction is not very good. I have had this blanket for 2 months and already had to sew the buckles and velcro back onto the neck cover. One only lasted 1 month. The thread used to attach these to the blanket was very weak and thin.
Summary: I am very disappointed with this blanket and the fact that it is a Rambo, which are supposed to be top quality. I will not buy another, nor would I recommend people to buy this blanket.
