Purchase: I purchased these breeches from Dover Saddlery on closeout price for $29.99 (the red coupon pages in the Dover catalog). I really needed some good schooling breeches for dressage and had gone through many other brands that just didn't last.
Likes: These breeches are COMFORTABLE! I never tried Dublin before, but I'm sure glad I did! They are nice, flattering, and hold up to rigors of everyday riding. I only purchased one pair because I wasn't sure about the quality, but I am going to buy some more for that excellent price/quality! The breeches aren't hard to put on and the velcro ankles don't "suffocate" my ankles and make them sore. The full seat is sturdy material that WON'T crumble or rip and grips the saddle nicely. I like the professional look of these breeches, they are classy.
Dislikes: I like everything!
Quality: These breeches are well-made. The full seat is a sturdy synthetic grippy suede and the rest of the breech is thick quality cotton. They are breathable and don't hinder movement. The color I got on closeout was an olive green with light beige seat. Very sophisticated coloring. They look like expensive breeches too. The ankles have velcro so that you can "custom fit" your ankles and not get those uncomfortable band marks on your ankles. They have a zipper/clasp at abdomen, and you can have the option of wearing a belt (hence belt loops at waist). They are also hay/dirt resistant.
Summary: I would highly recommend these breeches to anyone, professional or amateur. They are of excellent quality for an excellent price. You can't beat it with a stick! PS: I am very picky about breeches, and have been through MANY, so these breeches are TRULY great and have my "seal of approval" which is hard to get being that I've been through so many brands of breeches.
