Purchase: I purchased this pad off Toklat's website for $73.95 + shipping. I bought it because I wanted a comfortable and colorful pad for trail riding in my english saddle.
Likes: This pad is awesome. It is thick so it protects my mare's back, yet it is made of a polyester pile fiber that keeps her back cool in the ring or on the trail. It is shaped and there are different size options. The best part is that this pad comes in colors. It is really hard to find a decent shaped english pad that is colorful. I purchased the red one, but it is available in 13 colors including white for showing.
Dislikes: I really love it. It purchased a size 17 which it says will fit most 17-17.5" saddles, however I have a 17 in. saddle and the pad is a little big - but my horse is smaller. It is pricey, but I think the benefits far outweigh the cost.
Quality: It is of the highest quality. Nicer than any other pads I have had similar to this one. No pulling or pilling. Easy to wash - machine washable and dryer safe!
Summary: When and if this pad ever needs to be replaced I will be sure to buy another one. I love the red, and am considering buying it in some other colors just because they are so fun and bright! Plus the white one is great for showing.
