Model: Roughout Training Saddle
Category: Show Saddles
Purchase: I bought my Alamo saddle off line at Tacktrader.com from a lady in PN! I paid 500.00 for it used! I bought it for my VERY stocky western pleasure horse to train in!
Likes: I love the saddle! Comfy, i could ride in it all day! Very good quality, used everyday 7 days a week for 6 months now (not including the time the previous owner had in it)! And has held up really nice! Ive ridden in many others, Billy Cook, Allen Ranch, Harris and the only difference is the actual roughout leather! Otherwise they compare very nicely!
Dislikes: The leather isn't "true" roughout leather! But it works and serves the same purpose! Training Wise!! I also think the color is ugly, but i know it will darken when used more outside!
Quality: Construction is nice, like i said ridden in 7 days a week for 6 months and has held up nicely! And was bought used!!
Summary: I love it! Would recommend it to anyone! Love the d-rings nicely placed in the correct places!!
Usefulness Rating: 2.71429 out of 5.
