Model: Boeckelo Doubled Version
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle brand new through a local tack shop that imports saddles from foreign makers. It came in about 4 weeks after I ordered it in. I bought this saddle because I liked the style and make. Forestier has a good reputation for quality leather. It was expensive but not overpriced for most higher level jumping saddles.
Likes: I LOVE the leather it is so soft and supple. It darkened and softened within the first couple oils so that was convenient. The saddle is extremely comfortable and fits well on my narrow thoroughbred and will even fit a wider horse no problem. The mono flap and log billets allow for maximum leg contact with the horse which is great.
Dislikes: I cant say anything bad about this saddle. It is a dream to ride and compete in.
Quality: Construction and quality are both right up to my standards.
Summary: Great saddle, great quality. A very comfortable and secure ride. Looks unique and stylish.
Usefulness Rating: 0 out of 5.
