Purchase: I bought this cinch at a local tack store for about $40 with taxes.
Likes: Just one feel and I had to have one. The material is soft and squeezable. I have never had a cinch sore with this girth. I have owned it for at least 2 years and it is still as good as new. Perfect for an all day trail ride or a gymkhana. Easy to clean, just hose off or pull apart the velcro. The neoprene is still soft and supple, flexes with the horse. The neoprene also seems to have a gripping quality about it to keep the saddle in place.
Dislikes: I haven't found a thing I don't like about this cinch.
Quality: The part that touches the horse is made out of neoprene whith a nylon strap attached to it, which is used to attach to the saddle with stainless steel hardware.
Summary: I liked the girth so much I bought the Professional's Choice neoprene breast collor as well (which is just as great). I also found a similarly made sling for my rifle and can experience how it feels for myself, which takes the weight of the rifle of my shoulder and does not dig into my shoulder either. I wish Professional's Choice made more neoprene items for people!
