Purchase: I bought the Kincade Saddle online for $399 for Christmas. I always wanted an English saddle, and an inexpensive one because I have a quarter horse who is mostly rides western. I wanted one that was good quality, yet inexpensive.
Likes: I love the low price and the good quality leather of the package. It was also a very convenient buy because it came with all of the extras such as the girth, stirrups, and stirrup leather. All I needed to buy was the saddle pad!
Dislikes: It came with stirrup leathers which were a darker dye than the saddle, which was probably a mistake by the manufacture. The leather isn't the best or the greatest quality but for a low price it is good.
Quality: My saddle is still very new and in beautiful condition. The stitching is great and the saddle package is a beautiful color. The seat is very wonderful, and could even be used in mild jumping. It is also very comfortable. But I have heard from a friend that the saddle dye behind the stirrup leathers will begin to wear off and discolor a little over time with use.
Summary: I love the saddle package and am pleased with my purchase. For the English saddle, I also purchased the matching Kincade bridle and the set is beautiful! I would recommend this saddle to beginner riders or anyone who wants an inexpensive yet decent quality English saddle.
