Purchase: I got these at a local tack shop for $20 a few years ago, but since then they have gone up to $40.
Likes: These boots work well for schooling at home and lessons. They have a nice molded hard shell that is protective of the legs, and the fetlock is molded for a good fit. They are easy to wash, and put on the horse. They also fit many horses. The inside is squishy neoprene.
Dislikes: These boots have elastic and velcro fasteners. After about a year or really hard use, the elastic became way to big for the boot, and the velcro got fuzzy to the point where it did not work. Also the back of the molded boot and can pinch a horse with really thick legs. And neoprene only lasts about a year of hard use.
Quality: These boots did hold up well for the materials used. Velcro, elastic and neoprene all deteriorate over time anyway. They are a great boot for schooling, and are cheap enough to be replaced yearly. If you don't ride a lot, they will definitely last longer.
Summary: These are great for at home.
