Purchase: Cowboy Magic products can be purchased just about anywhere (Tractor Supply, tack stores). I bought a "gift set" from Champion Saddlery in Richmond, VA consisting of a large bottle of detangler and a slightly smaller bottle of shampoo. I have not tried the shampoo yet. I believe I paid $21.99 for the set.
Likes: The detangler is wonderful! I is truly effective and it smells pretty good. In the process of using it, your hands also get softer. It leaves mane and tail shiny and helps avoid future tangles. Works well when applied liberally to burrs, too.
Dislikes: A little pricey, maybe. Other than that, there isn't anything to complain about.
Quality: Would LOVE to see this in a larger, more cost-effective size with a PUMP top. When you're using this product and working it through the horse's tail and mane, your hands are slippery. If you need more detangler, it's difficult to hold onto the bottle and squeeze more out.
Summary: I think this is WELL worth the price and it's probably the most effective detangler I've tried.
