Purchase: I was in search of a mucking cart, that I could clean 8 stalls and only have to make at most 3 unload runs. I bought the FOLD IT utility cart from Dover Saddlery. I paid $240.00 for it, and Dover charges an extra shipping fee of $18.00.
Likes: This cart is so heavy duty, it has stood up great through the tests I have been putting it through! This cart is so balanced, and even when I have it completely full of rocks(rocks practically grow here in Montana)when I was getting rocks out of the pasture, it was not tippy, or wiggly at all! The best thing about this cart, is it fold up, yes you heard me right it fold up! I love it, because I can haul it around to endurace rides and shows everywhere, or even throw it in the bed of my truck! There is nothing worse then having to haul around a bulky wheel burrow to shows, and then have to load it back up! Even though it weigh a dinky 33 lbs...it can easily carry 330 lbs!!! It rolls easily over rough terrains, and muddly terrains! The front panel lifts eaisly for laoding wood or rocks! It is also available with a liftout tail gait. There are so many great accesories on this cart!
Dislikes: The price! It is a very expensive cart, it lasts, but it was still a burn in my pocket! I must admit though it was a great investment!
Quality: The FOLD IT cart is constructed of marine grade aluminum for rust prevention. It also has 20" reinforced pneumatic tires!
Summary: I could not imagine life without this car! With my regular wheelburrow, I had to make 10-11 trips to empty it when cleaning out 8 stalls! I am not even going to mention how many trips it took to empty it when I had to put brand new shaving in..AAAAHHHHH!! This cart takes me 3-4 runs to empty it, and when it is ful it is still so easy to push, pull, and manuver.
