Purchase: Purchased this bridle online through Apple Saddlery. Paid $42.50 plus tax.
Likes: I love the look of the bridle, and the small width of the leather is very flattering on my horses face.Looks more expensive than it is, and the leather is so soft and easy to adjust.. it's not stiff at all!
Dislikes: The sizing sucks! I bought a full sized bridle for my TB and it's still on the last hold and just barely fits well enough. I regret not getting the Cob sized one, but I've never had problems with full sized bridles being so large before. I can't even use my D-snaffle with this bridle because the cheek straps are just way too long and it won't hold the bit snugly in my horses mouth.. I'll have to try and punch more holes.
Also the noseband is wayyyy to long, need to punch more holes in that too.
Quality: The bridle is really lightweight. I haven't had any problems with tearing or stitching falling out at all yet.
Summary: Awesome bridle for the price, and looks great on my horse, but the sizing is way too off. If you typically use a full-sized bridle, buy the cob sized in this one!!
I would give this bridle a 5-star rating if the sizing wasn't so bad.
