Purchase: I bought this blanket from a local farm supply store for $140 dollars. I bought it because my horse is on pasture board and we live in indiana (it gets really cold) so added to his winter coat I thought it would keep him warm.
Likes: I like that it keeps him warm through a wide range of temperatures. He had it on one day when it got up to 55 degrees and I was worried he would be sweating- but he wasn't! He was still very comfortable. Also, the blanket fits well. He was also wearing it one day while it was pouring out and the blanket did not get soaked through- he was perfectly dry.
Dislikes: My horse is not one to be destructive (he is a pretty mellow, older gelding) and he broke one of the d-rings you hook the cross belly strap to. I have been trying to fix it ever since and it has been a hassle.
Quality: I think this blanket is pretty good. The construction is pretty good for the price. It keeps him warm and dry, which is mainly what I am going for!
