Purchase: I bought this bareback saddle / pad on Ebay for $240.
Likes: I most everything. The stitching is of good quality. The suede is nice and grippy. The knee-blocks are perfectly positioned and comfortable. The small "cantle" provides just enough support, but not so much that you feel like you are trapped on the horse. The foam padded seat is really comfortable. It has D rings for attaching a breastplate. It's a really good quality product!
Dislikes: There's only one thing that I didn't like about it. Despite it being suede, foam and wool felt, it's very stiff and flat over the back area. It did not fit my Thoroughbred's curvy back and high withers. So sad, too. It did fit my round quarter horse just fine, though. I would really like to see one made with a contour.
Quality: Very good quality construction, materials and workmanship.
Summary: This is a great bareback pad if you have a round horse with low withers.
Usefulness Rating: 3.05556 out of 5.
