Purchase: I saved up my money for a few years to buy a REALLY nice dressage saddle, and for the price I paid for the Prestige dressage saddle, I will have it until the day I die. I bought this saddle from Dover Saddlery, and paid exactly $3000.00 for it, not including shipping fees.
Likes: The tree of this saddle is SO lightweight because it is built with a special nylon and carbon fiber composite. Using a hightech infrared process, the tree width can be adjusted to accomadate developing young horses, those in training, or a new horse. These saddles are great because they are from Dover, they are available for a test ride! This is the best part.......drum roll please....FREE UNLIMITED ALTERATIONS BY PRESTIGE EXPERST ARE INCLUDED WHEN YOU BUY ANY PRESTIGE SADDLE FROM DOVER!!!!! This saddle is designed and made in Italy, so no wonder it is high quality. This saddle features a medium deep seat, and closer contact feeling between horse and rider. The seat sizes come in 17" and 18". With tree sizes that come in 32 cm, 33 cm, and 34 cm...but like I said before you get free alterations to adjust the tree sizes whenever you want...I only needed one alteration so far, and it only took 1 week to send it off, have the alteration done, and sent back to me...which is amazing! The alteration was perfect and fit my changing 3 year old perfectly! The padded flaps instintly formed to my legs, and the saddle felt like it was custom made to just fit me! it was amazing because the saddle flaps instantly adjust back to their normal shape as soon as you get out of it...so if multiple people are riding in the saddle it is custom for each rider! The saddle is closer contact than most saddle but still aquires the deep seat...it has so much less bulk then any other dressage saddle I have ridden in.
Dislikes: There is not one thing I do not like about this saddle!
Quality: Eccelent quality Italian leather! The black leather is so supple, even when it first arrived to me. The stiching is is impeccable, and the quality of all the materials is amazing!
Summary: All I have to say is, if you never own a Prestige saddle, you will never know what it's like to ride in the top of the like tack!
