Purchase: Starter Pack (100g Outer layer & 300g liner) cost a seemingly extortionate £185(GBP) and I bought the 100g and 200g liners for about £35 each which actually wasn't too bad!! Chose the suitably mud coloured brown version from a local tack shop so in fairness could have bought cheaper off the internet.
Likes: The versatility of the system - we have had mild autumn days to -8'c days (which for my part of the world in the UK is rare!) and pony-pone has been been toasty and dry. Withstands the harshest wet days and the nifty tail loop helps keep the tail flap down in strong winds. Doesn't seem to shift either when rolling and copes being used as a stable rug as well (liners not suitable as rugs on there own, unless for a quick covering). The liners are washable in a normal sized washing machine as well and in theory the outer rug is as well!
Dislikes: There is a diamond bit at the front that is exposed and the velcro on all bits of the rug are extremely sticky - but I guess that gives longevity :)
Quality: 'Top' Layer is 1000denier ripstop and is totally waterproof after 10 hours solid rain and wind and the liners come in 100/200/300/400g breathable liners
Summary: Well worth the money and has lasted my horse through the winter which no other rug has done. I have reduced her rug wardrobe to effectively 3 rugs as I don't count the liners as rugs and they pack really small.
