Purchase: I had a ridiculous helmet for 4 years and didn't want to have to wear it anymore so I got this for Christmas. It says it $209 at Greenhawk but I think my mom got it on sale.
Likes: I love the velvet on the outside, leather harness and silk lining. I basically love everything about it!
Dislikes: The first one I got looked like someone had tried it on, and like murdered it or something , and then took it back. This resulted in the silk lining ripping from underneath the nylon sweat thing on the inside by my forehead. I also didn't like how Greenhawk blamed it on me and wasn't going to let me exchange it. But the second one I got has been amazing ever since I got it.
Quality: It's made in Britain not China so that about tells you quality there. The velvet and harness are awesome quality. I don't take very good care of it (yes that is very bad) and the velvet hasn't crushed or made spots and nothing has ripped or stretched. I wish I had tried on the GR8 because it looks better on my round face. I suggest if you have a round face like me to get the GR8 or JR8 (looks exactly like the GR8 but has a nylon harness so it is A LOT cheaper). I also tried on a GPA and was amazed that I could actually pull it off but that's another story.
Summary: I really love the Charles Owen brand and would recommend it!
