Purchase: I bought this blanket from SmartPak for a reasonable price - around $110 or so, I can't honestly remember exactly.
Likes: It is well made with quality nylon and good stitching. It fits the horse well. It's very light weight and folds up nicely when not in use.
Dislikes: It doesn't have fleece a the withers nor does it have leg straps, instead it just has a tail cord, so the blanket does shift a little.
Also, they advertise this as "medium" but it only has 180 grams of fiberfill which to me is more "lightweight".
The chest straps are quite short and fit snugly, are surcingle style, and can be hard to undo then your fingers are frozen. You can't really adjust them either.
Quality: Quite good for the money.
Summary: This is an acceptable blanket and I think for horses that are stabled a lot, probably a good serviceable stable blanket, and you can also use it as a liner, as it's so light weight. However because of the lack of leg straps, it does shift and therefore can rub.
