Purchase: I purchased these boots through Horseloverz on clearance for $27. They regularly retail for $80. My old boots were falling apart and it was time for a new pair.

Likes: They are warm and comfortable. They are light, despite looking "clunky". They're easy to slip on and off when you're on the go, which is what I was looking for. I kept stepping on the backs of my other boots because I was always on the go and didn't feel like lacing them up every time I was in and out.

Dislikes: I REALLY don't like how much dirt/poop they pick up on the soles. The soles have many grooves/patterns that make it easy to track dirt in your car/house. I have to knock them together or on a stone before I go inside EVERYTIME and it gets annoying. Even when I spend time knocking them for a while, I still end up tracking dirt into my house/car. It's quite disgusting. I never had problems like that with my Ariats.

Quality: The boots are made of full grain sturdy leather with rubber soles. The footbed is anti-microbial and has excellent arch support. The toe is reinforced for safety around the barn/horses. The soles pick up A LOT of dirt/debri and are very impractical for wearing around horses/barn. They are a pain to keep clean. They look like big clunkers, but are actually VERY light boots.

Summary: I wouldn't recommend these boots for someone who goes to the barn constantly and does a lot of work. They are too much of an inconvenience and make a big mess. They wouldn't be worth full retail price in my opinion, and if you can get them at a cheap price, they would be alright for running errands in/going places and that's about it.
