Purchase: I was looking around the Internet for a comfy Trail Saddle.
Saw some similar for 1,400.00 to 1,600.00, I did a little research and found some good things about Southern Trails Saddle Co.
I paid 900.00 plus shipping.
Likes: The Leather is Pre-Oiled and good quality. It fits my Horse very well. It is different than every other Saddle, not a production type where everyone has the same one and same color. I was able to choose my own leather color and could modify many other things if I wanted, no need it was perfect as it was.
Dislikes: I have had it for 6 months now and cannot find anything wrong.
Quality: Great care was taken to make this Saddle, the skirts and jockeys had a soft lining under them, no squeaks. The tooling and sewing was perfect. All I can say is the quality was better than my last Tucker at almost twice the price.
Summary: Bottom Line, I like that. You would be crazy to spend twice as much for another Brand.
