Purchase: I paid $115 for these boots in 1995 from a local tack store in Reno that is now out of business
Likes: I have worn these boots for almost 14 years and they're AWESOME! I not only used them for show, but also for every lesson and schooling ride in between. They have held up amazingly well! Due to the everyday wear (riding, grooming, washing horses/buckets and general cruising around), they need to be resoled, but given the amount of time that has passed, I can't imagine what boots wouldn't!
Dislikes: The sole was always thin and didn't provide too much support, but they're made for riding, not walking anyways.
Quality: Overall, very good, with the exception of the sole and lack of footbed. I
Summary: AN EXCELLENT BUY!! I bought them as a pre-teen getting ready to start showing my first horse and I still have and use them as an adult. They've taken quite a beating and have held up extraordinarily well..... and I paid about a quarter of the amount for them that I would have for comparable quality. If you are on a budget, or are buying for a growing kid, I doubt you'll find a better deal!
