Purchase: I purchased a 76" Mesh fly sheet with neck cover form State line tack for $26.99. Purchased to keep my Palomino show gelding from fading and dirt.
Likes: I absolutely love the color and the texture of this fly sheet. The added protection on the neck cover is just what my palomino needed to help keep his coat from fading. Although the product itself does not state UV protection, I bought the sheet for the intended purpose of keeping my palomino gold and not dingy cream. May not be as popular or as strong in UV protection as some, but a good substitute for the price.
Dislikes: Runs a little on the small side. A 76" fit my 74-75" fairly well. UV protection not as strong as some.
Quality: My sheet is navy with a light blue trim, and the color is very vibrant and nice to look at. It loos really sharp on my palomino. The small mesh helps to not only protect from the sun and bugs, but also helps keep him clean, especially the neck cover, which helps to keep his pure white mane clean from dust and debris. So far the durability has seemed to hold up well, not having any problems, although my gelding is fairly easy going on his "clothes"
I do like how the hardware is easy to use to put the sheet on and take it off. Double front closure allows for adjustment. Velcro on the neck allows for easy adjusting and helps to keep the neck cover from sliding down. Extra protection with tail flap, and security with legs straps and belly surcingles.
Summary: A nice all around sheet at a really great price. Would purchase more.
