Purchase: I bought this pad from a local tack store because I was starting to ride a lot more and wanted to make sure my horse had a comfortable, breathable pad for an already well fitting saddle. It cost around $130 Canadian.
Likes: Overall pleasing to look at, price was reasonable, and seems to keep my horse comfortable.
Dislikes: While on flat terrain this saddle pad stays put fairly well, on any inclines I found it so slip so badly that I had to frequently get off and make adjustments. When riding down on steep trails it allows the saddle to slide forward, and when going uphill it slides back. This may just mean my horse is too round for this pad to work for him. He is not mutton whithered, he has a fairly average back. Even with v-rigging and a breast collar this pad allows my saddle to move all over.
Quality: Seems good, although I haven't been able to use it enough to really know.
Summary: Happy with overall pad, but does not really work for my horse. I don't recommend this pad for any steep trail riding. Consider carefully if you have a average to low whithered horse.
