Purchase: I needed a nice lightweight type mane and tail conditioner, something I could put in my mare's mane and tail every day, and not worry about it frying her hair out. I heard about this stuff from a buddy who uses it on her horse and even herself! She bought it from SmartPak Equine for $13.50, so I had her order me a bottle as well.

Likes: THE SMELL! Oh my gosh, this stuff smells better than any of my shampoo and conditioner! It is not like most conditioners where it takes a few days to weeks of use, for the hair to look noticably better, the second I sprayed it on my mare her mane and tail were gleaming! It made her tail look so much thicker and sleeker. It reduced the breakage around the dock of her tail, because she tends to rub the hair there. My pasture and the indoor are really dusty, and the conditioner actually repelled the dirt of of her tail. Best of all, I was not able to ride because of personal problems, for almost 2 weeks, she went without any grooming, and it was totally muddy one week, when I went out to see her, her mane and tail were still in such good shape, and I could even smell the conditioner on her mane!!!! It also contains citronella to help repel flies.

Dislikes: The bottle is only a 500ml, so it is not too big, therefore, it only lasted me maybe a month...but then again I use it every day..lol.

Quality: It says on the bottle "Award Winning Formula"...it has all natural stuff in it, no junk. My saddle also did not slip when I sprayed it on her body once.

Summary: This is a great conditioner to always have at hand, and because of the fact that the bottle is so small and slim, it fits everywhere, and is a great touch-up spray for shows...I have even used it on my Australian Shepherd, and now she also has a glossy coat..lol!
