Purchase: HorseTech is a reputable supplement company, and when I found their electrolyte, I knew I needed to try it. I have a horse in heavy work who is easily dehydrated come summer. They have a free sample available at their website.
Likes: The supplement has a NASC seal, which made me feel better. My extremely picky horse didn't seem to mind the taste; it also helps that the scoop is small so not a lot in his feed. This supplement is very concentrated and does not contain sugars/fillers.
Dislikes: I didn't notice any discernible difference in my horse. He didn't drink more than usual and did not recover more quickly after workouts.
Quality: HorseTech makes good supplements that go through a lot of quality control. Quench has a NASC seal and does not have sugar/filler. The container is small (because the dose is small), so great for crowded feed rooms!
Summary: This did not have any effect on my horse. It seemed like the ticket: good quality, reputable company, no sugars, palatable etc, but just not right for my horse. Since they're still offering free samples, it's worth a try!
