Purchase: I purchased this saddle brand new from my local tack shop. I paid full price for it which was around $3500.
Likes: I love this saddle! It has been the best investment of my riding career. I have an OTTB mare that is extremely sensitive and all of my previous saddles have caused problems related to my position and saddle fit. This saddle fits her perfectly and it's put my leg in the perfect position underneath me. I'm now finally able to correctly sit her enormous trot without her tossing her head and pinning her ears. Yeay!
Dislikes: It's really expensive new and due to the popularity I haven't seen many used in the size I needed. I went through two other saddles (used) to no avail due to trying to save a few bucks. In the end, I decided to take the plunge and have been so happy! It's worth every penny!
Quality: So far the quality is great! It's recommended to use Prestige leathers though as the flap leather is soft and can scratch easily with rougher stirrup leathers. I've kept it oiled once weekly and its still looks new.
Summary: I'd recommend this saddle to anyone trying to solve a "chair seat" problem or if you have a really sensitive horse. It's truly the most comfortable dressage saddle I've ridden in.
