Purchase: I bought this from my local tack store for around $12. My black horse was fading in the sun, and he won't wear a fly sheet.
Likes: Not much.
Dislikes: 1. This shampoo makes everything blue! Sponges, buckets, hands, etc! Even with the most careful handling it runs down the bottle and then gets everything else blue.
2. It doesn't really "spread" well. You are constantly reapplying to the sponge.
3. Well...it didn't really work on my horse.
4. I had to bathe him with normal shampoo prior to his "quic black" bath because it doesn't clean very well.
5. You have to let it sit for 10+ minutes. By the time 10 minutes was up, it was almost dry on my horse!
Quality: Maybe my horse is just different, but the shampoo does not seem to be effective. The bottle is very stiff, so it's hard to squeeze out enough.
Summary: I don't think this shampoo is worth buying. It didn't work for my horse, and is now sitting in my tack locker.
