Purchase: I think I bought these from horse.com, but it may have been another online retailer. I paid $35 (I do remember that!).
Likes: These boots look like real leather but don't require the up-keep (oiling). They are much more comfortable than my $100 leather Ariats and didn't require much break-in. I went through mud and water with these and they kept my feet dry.
Dislikes: These boots did wear out (cracking of the exterior where the toe flexes) rather quickly in less than a year of weekly use.
Quality: I'd say the construction quality is excellent, but the outer shell material could be made a bit more resilient.
Summary: These are great boots for the price. I love not having to oil them. They were instantly comfortable, more so than more expensive leather boots, so I will be buying another pair. I just wish the outer shell were more resilient and that's the only reason they are getting 4 stars otherwise it would be 5 stars. I'll be keeping an eye out for other synthetic boots as well.
