Purchase: I bought this saddle pad through StateLine Tack, at petsmart for $19.99.
Likes: I have only owned this saddle pad for 3 months, but I just love it so much! The price was unbeatable! They also have such a variety of plaids and solid colors. The have the A/P like mine, and the Dressage ones, which I think are only a couple more dollars. It even has the wither relief pad, so you don't have to tent your pad as much. It is super thick quilted cotton. The velcro and loops are heavy duty...I have also washed it a few times now, and I haven't had a problem with fading or shrinking.
Dislikes: There is not really anything I don't like about this pad, usually my main problem with pad is they are always slipping out from under the saddle and this one doesn't do that.
Quality: Everything is all heavy duty, but it is a lightweight saddle pad, and conforms nicely ro my mare's back...it is not big and bulky and it lays nice and flat against her. The piping is nice, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the piping, stitching, velcro, or fabric.
Summary: Overall for $19.99 you cannot get a better pad, to me it seems like it was way inderpriced and should be more around $30-$40 instead. I have known many of my friends to ride in shows in the black and white ones. I have ridden endurance in mine, jumped with it, did cross country a few times, and it has been up in the mountains on trail rides.
