Purchase: I bought it off a girl who one it at a jr. rodeo for $400 they run about $650 new.
Likes: The tree fits everything! I am really anal about checking my horses for back soreness and I have never once sored a horse with this saddle. I love the seat and how balanced it is! A guy who used to work for us also had a Corriente and let me tell you the saddle will last through anything. He had horses flip over in it, go swimming in it, bronc in it, step on it, you name it and that saddle was great. It also had a hard seat and was still comfortable to ride in for hours.
Dislikes: The leather quality is cheap. It is extremely durable and holds up forever but it is stays pretty stiff as it has a weird coating over it(I have been riding in it nearly every day for a year). but I guess if it had high quality leather it would be a $1,000+ saddle not $600. Also the stirrup holes weren't punched completely even so that the brackets would fit into one hole but not the other because they were not the right distance apart. this was only a problem with a few holes and It wasn't too big a deal just a little irritating.
Quality: Wayne does an amazing job building these saddles. If you want a really high quality built saddle and don't mind skimping on the leather quality then this saddle is for you. I am looking into buying a reining saddle from him as well.
Also the rough out seems to be better leather and breaks in much easier than the smooth leather.
