Purchase: I've gotten a few of these from the local tack shop over time. They run about $5 or $6 for the original one that goes in the Likit Treat Holder that hangs up.
Likes: Most horses seem to like them. My friends and I have bought them for our horses and others at the barn, and almost all of the horses will eat them. They come in wide variety of flavors, and a Sport Likit with electrolytes. The Likit can be hung from a special holder or held in your hand to feed your horse small amounts from it.
Dislikes: They are supposed to be hard so horses can't take big chunks, but unless they are frozen from really cold weather outside, horses can still take big bites from the soft blocks. They are also quite messy when slobbered on. If the holder isn't far from the wall, the horse can pin it up against the wall and just gnaw the heck out of it.
Quality: A good-tasting (for horses!) treat that is fun to give as a present! A block usually lasts a while and provides entertainment. Nutrition analysis on package.
Summary: These Likits are great but monitor your horse closely for intake as with other treats!
