Purchase: I got these from a friend back in July. I don't remember the exact price they were then but they go for around $28 now. She bought them for me at Tractor Supply. A different friend then bought the exact same pair a little while after.
Likes: These boots are practical and useful. They have a wide enough calf so your jeans or riding pants can fit down inside of them, and they are completely waterproof. They have sock liners, but don't wear them without socks! Also, these Wellies come in fun colors including my favorite color pink! (It's a kind of fuchsia pink). They also fit great. I wish they would have all of the colors in stock at Tractor Supply, however, because my friend got them in the same color as I did.
Dislikes: The sock liner rubbed out at the heel in about a week or two, but my friend's Wellies are still in good shape. It isn't that they don't fit, but I tend to destroy shoes and boots quickly. Recently, a big tear has developed in the back along the black rubber "seam" that goes all the way up the back. So much for being waterproof anymore! Once again, my friend's Wellies are still in perfect condition. I'm going to get a new pair but a bit heavier-duty.
Quality: These seem like well-put together Wellies for the price, however, if you tend to be hard on boots, try getting something a little tougher. The boots have "adjustable" side gussets, but they aren't really. The buckle is glued to the little strap, and to adjust them, I had to tear top of the strap. Now they adjust, but they don't really stay tight. The sole is nice and isn't as bad as the Wellies I had before, where I got really sore feet.
Summary: These are nice if you need a semi-durable barn boot to bring in, turn out, muck stalls, etc. They are FREEZING in the winter however, so I wouldn't recommend them then. All non-insulated rubber Wellies do this, though.
