Purchase: I bought this saddle used, but in like new condition. New, this saddle is $2,400 but I paid $1,000 for mine used from a local woman who got out of horses. I suspect I would have spent more if I had purchased it off Ebay.
Likes: I am in love with this saddle. I have never been in a more comfortable, secure feeling saddle. I have complete freedom of movement, yet I feel like nothing could unseat me. This is a gorgeous, well crafted saddle and screams quality. The craftsmanship is superb and the ride is out of this world. Even my hard to fit horse loved it and rode better than ever. His entire attitude changed when I used this saddle on him. The center rigging is great. It really frees up the shoulders, too. I have tried Rocking R, Blue Ribbon, Circle Y, and other higher quality saddles but this one takes the cake.
Dislikes: The stirrups are long. I am tall and they fit me on the smallest setting. I highly recommend anyone who buys one of these saddles to have extra holes put in if you are shorter than 5'8". Otherwise, I have no complaints. The saddle is flawless.
Quality: Superb. The leather is very thick and supple. It's obviously grade A. The tooling is excellent and the silver and silver inlay is perfect. There are no flaws at all. The saddle is gorgeous and well made.
Summary: I would recommend this saddle to anyone looking to buy a nice show quality saddle in the $1,000-$2,500 range.
