Purchase: I bought this paste from my local tack store for around $7 for my horse after hot days at shows.
Likes: My horse did drink after I gave it to him.
Dislikes: Maybe I just didn't read carefully enough, but I didn't realize this was a gel! It took all the strength I had to slowly push that stuff out...it was horrible. Handling a horse who is NOT thrilled with pastes, this was no easy task. The gel came out in big chunks, so what he didn't immediately swallow fell onto the ground. It took way too long to administer; almost 5 minutes!
Quality: The gel comes in a huge syringe, and is almost impossible to administer.
Summary: I'll never buy this electrolyte again. My horse is so much more wary of oral meds now because of it. At the end, you'll have an upset horse and a slippery floor covered with Stress Dex!
