Purchase: I paid $50, plus $5 shipping for this jacket, new with tags, on eBay. Ordinarily it goes for $80 to $90.
Likes: Everything! The jacket, which is nicely form fitting, is made of soft microfiber, quilted with some kind of very thin insulation (warmth without bulk!), and has a sturdy two-way zipper. It has two zip handwarmer pockets and an interior zip pocket on each side of the chest -- it's nice to be able to stow sunglasses, keys, and phone while I ride or teach. The lining is a fun hippie-type print -- it's gotten as many compliments as the jacket itself! I'll be happy to wear this jacket everywhere, not just the barn.
Dislikes: So far, nothing -- it's comfortable, warm, well made, and, on top of everything else, attractive.
Quality: Very nice. As I noted before, the zipper is sturdy (having had to replace the zipper on a $200 winter riding coat, this is important to me), and the rest of the jacket, like the zipper, is the high quality I expect from Ariat.
Summary: If you're looking for a well-made, warm, lightweight jacket with feminine tailoring, this is the one for you.
