Purchase: I needed new show boots, as my old ones no longer fit me. I had been looking around for a new field boot, and I had seen these in the show ring many times. I bought these at my local tack store Apple Saddlery for about $230.
Likes: I love the Spanish cut, I find it looks very elegant. I also like how the calf size comes in a slim; I have very thin calves so it happens many times that the boots are to loose at the calve.
Dislikes: I really dont like the material that they are made of. I don't think I would even call it leather. You don't get the same shine cleaning these as you do with real leather. They also take a really long time to break in. I have had them for about six months, and my leg swings all over the place because I barely have any grip.
Quality: Leather field boots with zippers and the classic laces at the front. Spanish cut.
With classic detailing, this boot is made with a traditional leather finish
It is easier to put on and affordable!
Excellent choice for the everyday or the competitive rider.
Summary: Basically I wouldn't buy these if you like the feeling of leather. For 230 you can still get decent leather boots, and these really aren't the best quality. However these would be good for someone that likes a easy care boot.
