Model: Rubber D Ring (View all Rubber D Ring reviews)
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I love the leverage you get with a D-ring bit, so I wanted to buy one. My horse has a very sensitive mouth so I needed something other then a plain metal one. I bought this at my local greenhawk for $24.95.
Likes: I love how my horse loves it! He accepts the bit right away, and is chewing and foaming in minutes! This really has done miracles for me. I also love how you can still have the classic hunter D ring, even for sensitive mouthed horses.
Dislikes: The rubber has a funny smell when you first get it, and I really hope it doesn't taste of rubber to my horse.
Quality: Metal bit covered with black rubber. One joint in the middle.
Summary: I don't think I will be needing a new bit for a while. I'm definitely going to recommend this to anybody that has a sensitive mouthed horse.
Usefulness Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
