Purchase: I bought these full-seat breeches in a tack shop in New England for $80.00(US)on sale. I wanted a reliable breech to wear on long trail rides in cold, wet weather.
Likes: These breeches are made from a substantial, stretchy fabric that's fleece-lined and wind-resistant,and the breeches do indeed keep my legs warm while riding in single-digit temperatures. The full- seat is sticky and has helped me stay in the saddle during some "spooky" episodes, but the stickiness of the seat doesn't interfere with posting the trot. Also, the breeches come in black, navy, and teak, which is a nice greyish-brown.
Dislikes: What's not to like? These breeches do what they were designed to do-keep you warm and in the saddle!
Quality: The breeches are well-stitched and the fabric is sturdy without being bulky. The full-seat is comfortable to sit on for long periods in the saddle.
Summary: These are really super-nice breeches. Where I live, we've just had a thaw that left several inches of wet, sloppy mud around my barn. I didn't think I'd ever get the splotches off my breeches, but every one came out in the (machine)wash.
