Purchase: I bought these online from Beval several months ago for $80.
Likes: The leather is soft and very high quality. It absorbs oil well but I try not to oil them too often r too much to prevent stretching. Beval suggests not to oil these items too much as the leather is of a high quality that does not require much.
Dislikes: The stretched- well one of them did. My right stirrup leather is now 2 holes longer than my left one. This tends to happen to me in many of the saddles I ride, so perhaps it is my fault. I am going to try switching them and see if they will even out.
Quality: The stitching is tight, the leather is soft and supple. They are nylon lined to reduce stretching, which almost worked.
Summary: I would definitely buy them again! One of them did stretch uneven with the other but I really think this has more to do with me than the quality of the stirrup. Switching them will probably stretch the other one so they are even. Cognac is a very light color, I might suggest the havana.
