Purchase: I got this saddle from Dover Saddlery, and I pay around $1,000 for it. I got this saddle because I'm leasing a horse, and we are going to event this season so I got an All Purpose saddle.
Likes: This saddle is very good quality, and VERY comfortable! It's very good for over fences, but also good for flatwork. It's a saddle for the show ring, too. It breaks in easy, and if you take care of it, you'll have it forever.
Dislikes: The saddle flaps are a bit longer than normal AP Saddle flaps, it makes it hard to find a long enough AP saddle pad.
Quality: This saddle is VERY good quality, and my trainer's daughter has had her Senior Event Saddle for about 16 years! It still looks almost brand new! The saddle flaps are a bit longer, so on some AP saddle pads, the saddle flaps go below the bottom of the saddle pad.
Summary: I'm extremely glad that I got the Collegiate Senior Event saddle, it's my favorite saddle ever! It's well worth the price!
