Purchase: I purchased these chaps through Dover Saddlery on closeout price of $39.99. They were originally $109.99, so I thought it was a VERY good deal! :) My cheapy chaps that I purchased out of desperation were getting too big for me since I had lost weight.
Likes: These chaps are COMFORTABLE! They have full grain leather on the outside and real suede on the inside for grip. I also love how they fit you like a "glove". They hug my calves and stay put. They also have a convenient zipper instead of all velcro.
Dislikes: There's nothing I don't like.
Quality: These chaps come in black or brown. They are full grain leather with suede in-calf for superior grip while riding. They have a "glove-like" fit and stay put. They have a zipper on the outside of your leg and a little strip of velcro on the outside edges for added closure. They also have a button on top to ensure they stay put. They keep your legs WARM and help your calves to "relax".
Summary: These are EXCELLENT chaps! I would recommend them to anyone, pro or amateur. I suggest you get them at the closeout/sale price when the time is right. You can get a quality product at an excellent price!
