Purchase: I needed a new helmet since my old one was a hand-me-down that really didn't fit. I bought this Charles Owen at Dover Saddlery in New Hampshire for $145
Likes: I love this helmet! The padding inside is great fits my head very well. It's secure and looks good too. Very comfortable!
Dislikes: The harness hits my ear right my earrings which is only slightly annoying if I'm focusing on it. It doesn't bother me when I'm riding though. There isn't much negative stuff to say about this helmet!
Quality: Great quality! Sturdy and comfortable. Charles Owen has a great reputation.
Summary: I think this is a wonderful helmet for a great price! The harness is different from the more expensive models but I tried them all on at the store and still liked the JR8 best. Looks and feels great!
