Purchase: I got this blanket 3 or 4 years ago online from Country Supply, or horse.com. I needed a blanket for my new horse, as I had never needed to use them before. It was on sale for around $50 I believe, but retails for $90.
Likes: For the price I paid this blanket held up fairly well. It was light enough to use in the fall and spring, but also ok for winter, and great if I used a liner under it. The blanket has stayed mostly waterproof, except in spots where torn.
Dislikes: One of the straps keeps coming undone more recently, and as such was stepped on and ripped the blanket. Maybe this was just from being used so many years, but maybe not. Well made for the most part.
Quality: Pretty well made, though the Saxon logo(which was plastic) did come off in the first year. Gusset shoulder was nice. Material did rip after many year, but was ripped by outside forces, not from poor construction.
Summary: Great blanket for the price. Lasted me a good long time, and I am generally happy with it.
