Purchase: I was having a really hard time finding half chaps that fit my muscular calves. After searching the internet I found Arete Saddlery and learned that they specialize in plus size chaps and riding apparel. I got the XL brown suede chaps but they go all the way up to 4XL! They were $45 plus shipping.
Likes: They fit wonderfully!! Perfect size and fit plus they look nice. I tried half chaps with velcro to fit my leg and they looked terrible. These chaps are streamlined and much more flattering
Dislikes: Nothing really. After six months they need to be cleaned but they still look great!
Quality: The construction is great! Good quality work, stitching, zipper, etc. The suede is probably not the best available but they are still very soft and look great!
Summary: For the price these chaps can't be beat! I love the look and quality and that they have a size to fit every rider out there!
