Purchase: I've tried a demo that I got from Tad, as well as a two additional ones that I found on consignment at local tack stores. Didn't buy one, though.
Likes: Nicely balanced saddle with grippy panels. Very secure ride.
Dislikes: I have a high-withered TB that definitely needed the wither relief pad that Tad offers. While I like the idea of a saddle that could potentially fit a variety of different horses, it's a bit of a pain to carry around and have available several different pads to make the saddle fit correctly. The pommel was also really high for me, and let's just say that there was a little bit of chafing. Not fun. My experience with Tad's customer service, contrary to many other people's, was not great, either.
Quality: Nice saddle, well constructed. Very comfortable and it sits you in a great position. My horse seemed to like it a lot, too, as long as it was teamed with the correct pad.
Summary: Tad's saddles are nice, but I think that mine needed to be fitted a little more exactly to me and my horse. Tad's lack of communication around getting me in the right saddle was a bit off-putting, so I've bought another brand from a company that serviced the heck out of me, and fit my horse perfectly.
