Purchase: I am from South Africa so bought the product at the Western Shoppe, a well known store over here. I bought the gloves as I needed something for eventing and "tacky" sounded really ideal and what I was looking for, the gloves were R180 which is about $20.
Likes: They were great in cold weather and stick to your reins very effectively when wet. So 100% for grip.
Dislikes: In hot weather your gloves have to be emptied out every few minutes thanks to the accumulating sweat and dirt. Holes started forming after 2 months (this happened to my $2 pair of gloves...) and once you have dirt on them they stay dirty.
Quality: I wouldnt say the gloves are of very good quality as they broke quite easily. They palm of the gloves is made of this neat tack stuff (unfortunately the inside of the glove too) which is also found between the fingers. There is a velcro strap at the wrist.
Summary: I wouldn't buy these gloves again as they caused me much discomfort and even wrinkly fingers!
