Purchase: I purchased a pair of these stirrups at a Greenhawk sale for around $30

Dislikes: I have found that these stirrups have wwwaaayyyy too much bend/flex in them. I have ridden in jointed stirrups previously and liked them so thought I would purchase a set of my own (to go with my new saddle)...
I am unable to keep my heel down with these stirrups. I already have a problem keeping my heels down at times but this just made my issues worse.
I also find that I am constantly fumbling for my stirrup! I am finding that particularly at the canter, my foot slowly slips out of the stirrup....not good!
I have also noticed that the black rubber tends to "rub off" onto my saddle - I do not like this because it is a new (and expensive!!) saddle.
One last thing that I hate about these stirrups...they squeak! Admittedly, my saddle squeaks because of the cold temperatures and new leather but these stirrups also seem to squeak in cold temperatures.
Quality: The Good Side: they are durable
The Bad Side: They squeak in cold temperatures (see above) and the black from the rubber rubs off onto my saddle (see above).
Summary: Please don't buy these. I've noticed they have gone up in price - save your money and buy other stirrups. I'm now looking for just a pair of regular Knife Edge stirrups because I know I don't have a problem with them.
