Purchase: I bought this on private treaty - brand new for $1800 :)

Likes: The leather is fantastic! I also like that the waist of the saddle is pretty narrow (feels closer to my horse's back). I also like how the panels are very comfy to the horse and the channel is a nice size - not too wide but will not pinch even a wide wither. It is also generous in the height of the pommel so it will fit a higher withered horse pretty well too.
The rear blocks are well positioned for flat and jumping with minimal interference.
Dislikes: The 4 billets don't fit really well with the rear blocks. My girth buckle cuts into the rear block. I have to use the middle 2 to get the saddle to balance...not ideal. It is also pretty stiff and is taking a while to break in. It is very grippy (with ledersoft and lederfit) and secure, but pretty stiff. Definitely not a Devoucoux seat :)
Also, it is a lot of saddle and a little heavy for a CC saddle.
Quality: Excellent. One of the best made saddles - as good as the Forestier that I owned, or better. High quality leather (grained flaps, rest is calf) that will last.
The flocking is some of the best that I have ever felt on a saddle - a mix of natural and synthetic fibers.
Very well designed tree - even when the saddle slips a little, I am still easily with the motion of my horse.
Summary: Pricey new from a tack shop (over $4K) but my horse moves very well under it. It is also very secure (I even use it for XC). I recommend these saddles to anyone with a harder to fit horse. They will even custom make a shorter panel to accommodate a sloping shoulder.
Giving it a 4 rather than a 5 due to the price and that it is not a true CC - I am not as close to the horse as I would have liked.
